• 1 year - First Medical Aid and elements of nursing - 2023/2024

The groups are divided to be under the care of Lindleya (1st Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care) and Banacha (2nd Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care): please check the grand plan provided by the deanery to which Department your group is allocated. Group swaps are only allowed in extreme individual cases before the start of the classes. The first lecture is held at the Department to which you are allocated.

Practical classes are held at the Medical Simulation Centre (CSM) and also at the Pediatric Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (1MC3, at Trojdena). The final test is conducted by the Pediatric Anesthesiology Department.

Algorithms and Basic Life Support (BLS 2021) theory should be learned before the start of the practical classes for the benefit of the education process. Accessible via: www.erc.edu

• 5 year - Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy - 2023/2024

The groups are divided to be under the care of Lindleya (1st Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care) or Banacha (2nd Department). Please confirm the group allocation with the grand plan provided by the deanery at the start of the academic year.

Mandatory materials will be provided via the e-learning WUM platform for ED. Login similar to SSL-WUM. Advanced Life Support (ALS 2021) guidelines are mandatory for the Medical Simulation Centre classes and should be read BEFORE the start of Simulation: these are available for free at ww.erc.edu A entry test will be performed to assess preparedness for the classes.

For the Lindleya groups: the students will be divided into subgroups for practical classes in theatres and ITU on the first day - please bring theatre footwear (open hindfoot/no sportswear). Single use scrubs, surgical masks and caps will be provided.

The final examination will be held at the end of the semester as a MCQ test for all groups.
